SR Divers

alt SR Divers This course is divided into three major levels. In the first level the students will learn how to participate in operations that require body recovery, weapons recovery and scuba fatalities.

One Star Diver
Two Star Diver
Three Star Diver

Underwater Navigation

During this course divers will be introduced to natural navigation, underwater patterns, distance estimation, learn and practice compass navigation.

Ropes and Rigging Specialist

Special Response Diver Operation usually requires work with ropes, knots and basic rigging. During this course student will learn essential knots, anchoring rappel ropes, hardware, rigging and emergency procedure.

High Altitude Diver

Special Response Diving team will occasionally require operating at altitude greater than 300m above see level, thus requiring special techniques and considerations for dive planning and execution.

SRD Equipment Specialist

This course teaches its participants to distinguish recreational gear from professional gear and to save time and money by choosing the right equipment for each operation.

Nitrox Diver

Nitrox diving has been around for more than 50 years and has been a favorite choice of breathing gas for military and commercial divers because it offers extended bottom time for operational purposes. This course is designed to extend the diver's knowledge in the use of Nitrox, develop diving skills and provide a greater understanding of the Nitrox concept of diving.

Underwater Investigations 1

Under Water Investigation 1 is a program designed to give SRD students the basic skills and knowledge of planning, organization, techniques and to be able to identify hazards of this type of diving.

The diver will learn evidence handling, underwater search patterns and techniques, side scan sonar, and planning of underwater investigations and recovery.

Seamanship for Divers

During this course divers will learn the following skills: to handle small boats up to 6m in length in regular diving conditions, to prepare a boat before it is used by divers, to launch/load/start a boat, to follow divers with a boat, to pick up divers and emergency procedures.

Light Salvage and Recovery

Light salvage and recovery techniques are very important part of SRD education.
During the course you will learn how to plan and select appropriate light salvage and recovery techniques for different situations, how to collect and analyze information, recognize potential hazards and learn to apply recovery procedures.

Dry Suit Diver

This course covers care and maintenance, fit, insulation options, equipment configuration, buoyancy control, emergency procedures and basic field repair.

Rescue Diver

As a rescue diver you will be trained first to identify potentially dangerous situations and so prevent accidents from happening. You will also learn what to do in the event that a surface or underwater rescue becomes necessary.

Underwater Investigations 2

The Underwater Investigations 2 course will combine classroom instruction with practical in-water application. The student will be exposed to tasks related to special response diver operations such as underwater crime scene processing, hull search techniques, underwater video and photography and numerous other tasks.

Overhead Environment Diver

This course covers the different aspects of overhead diving and is designed to introduce the skills and knowledge required for limited penetration into the underwater environment. Training includes an emphasis on awareness, dive planning, navigation, standard procedures, emergency procedures, techniques, stress management, problem solving, and the hazards of overhead diving.

Obstructed Entry Diver

Typically, dive sites are made difficult by steep embankments, obstacles or various other kinds of impediments. For this type of task, Special Response Divers must be taught how to identify the best points of entry for diving operations.

Ice Diver

There are many things to consider when planning and executing a cold water dive such as proper equipment, shelter and safety and emergency operational procedures.
SRD training program will give comprehensive knowledge not just in cold water diving but being able to organize, operate and apply additional skills in any kind of diving operation as well as be part of a special operations team.

Swift Water Diver

Students will be trained in proper procedures for river diving, site elevation, river physiology and subsurface swift water operational techniques.

Full Face Mask Diver

Very often a Full Face Mask (FFM) is required to do a certain job such as a diving operation in contaminated water or where other hazardous material is present and the FFM also gives the user the benefit of underwater communication. Using a FFM is very different from using regular diving mask and so it requires special training in order to be able to use this mask correctly. During the course you will be trained in emergency procedures and underwater communication techniques.

Special Maritime Operations

This course is designed to train Special Response Divers in the operational phases of Maritime Security Operations. It has been designed to provide the student with the knowledge necessary to perform maritime security advances and train the student in underwater diving tactics and bomb searches.
Special Maritime Operations program has been developed to prepare the students to prevent and overcome any crisis situation in the Maritime environment. The course consists of classroom instruction and water exercises.

What people say

"They teach you many useful things from their great experience..."

Oliver Trion

“I completed the SRD Underwater Investigation 1 course in Vancouver BC. There was no Hollywood fluff in this course just solid facts and fundamentals regarding the realities of how to be a professional diver investigator. I would recommend this course to anyone wanting to work in investigation business...”

David Tompson

“I've attended two SRDI courses in Serbia. Even though I'm diver arts for more than15 years and have seen a lot, I was amazed how good the system of training was. If you have the opportunity don't miss it!...”
